The children come together around a jar filled with bright pearls. The story tellers says that every pearl is a tale, and the children can choose the one they find most interesting. The story teller takes out that pearl.
“Listen eagerly now, because I am going to tell the story… about a lion on the savannah”.
These fairy tales for the small ones present multiculturalism as a shared treasure. Would you like to hear a Hungarian story, a Somali one, or maybe an Ottoman or Tatarian tale?
We also have the pleasure of offering feast-tellers who can tell share about different festivals and feasts. Our languages are Swedish, Finnish, Russian, English, Arabic and Romanian.
For interested pedagogues we can also organise training in oral story-telling for multicultural young listeners.
